The only true Red Snapper is a very expensive fish found in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean, so there is a lot of confusion over the issue. Rockfish vary drastically in color from one species to another. All rockfish species grow slowly and are fished heavily which makes the future unknown. Fat Content: Low Size: Most under 10 lbs.
